Step 1: Download & Install Trezor Suite
Begin your journey by downloading the official Trezor Suite app. You can use the desktop version (Windows, macOS, Linux) or the browser/web version. Installing the Suite is straightforward — follow the installation wizard, launch the app, and you’re ready to connect your device.
Once installed, connect your Trezor hardware wallet via USB. Trezor Suite will detect your device and guide you through the initial setup steps, including firmware verification and onboarding.
Step 2: Explore the Dashboard & Portfolio
After setup, you will land on the **Dashboard** — your control center. Here, you’ll see your portfolio overview, account balances, and recent activity. The dashboard gives you a snapshot of your crypto holdings over time.
Use the left sidebar to navigate between different coins, accounts, and device settings. Activate coins you want to manage, enable additional accounts, and preview balances even when your device is not connected (view-only mode).
Step 3: Send, Receive & Swap Crypto
**Receive Crypto:** Click on the **Receive** tab for a selected coin or account. The Suite generates a receiving address — always verify the address shown on your Trezor device before sharing it.
**Send Crypto:** In the **Send** tab, enter the recipient’s address, amount, and optionally adjust network fees. Confirm the transaction details on your Trezor device to complete the send. Always double-check address integrity before approving.
**Swap & Trade:** Use the **Swap** or **Buy & Sell** functions (via Invity integrations) to exchange one cryptocurrency to another within the Suite interface. The Suite compares multiple providers for optimal rates. You can enable **DCA (Dollar‑Cost Averaging)** to automate recurring buys over time.
Step 4: Configure Security & Settings
Under **Settings**, you’ll find three main tabs: **Application**, **Device**, and **Coins**:
- Application: Adjust fiat currency display, theme (light/dark mode), enable Discreet Mode to hide balances, language settings, and auto‑eject wallets.
- Device: Manage PIN, passphrase, label your device, wipe if needed, and perform firmware updates safely through the Suite UI.
- Coins: Enable or disable specific cryptocurrencies to control which assets appear in your Suite view (this does not remove them from your wallet).
You can also toggle **Auto‑eject wallets** so that when the Trezor is unplugged, Suite hides balances and disconnects. **View‑only mode** allows you to monitor balances without your device attached — your private keys remain safe offline.
Use the **Suite Guide** (lightbulb icon) for in-app help and contextual tutorials. Keep your Suite updated to benefit from new security features and improvements.

• Always verify addresses on your Trezor screen before approving transactions. • Use a passphrase for an additional hidden wallet layer. • Regularly update your firmware and Suite app to stay secure. • Enable dark mode or discreet mode when working in public. • Use the Auto‑eject feature if you share your computer.
